The charity friendly match with the participation of coach Henrique Calisto and more than 50 famous Vietnamese football players took place on the evening of September 24, raising nearly 2 billion VND for charity.

Before the friendly match, coach Calisto and former players contributed to a charity fund to support difficult cases in football and families affected by the mini apartment fire in Khuong Ha, Hanoi.

The cash donations at the stadium were nearly 70 million VND, along with 169.2 million VND from ticket sales, which were donated to charity. It has been a long time since Thong Nhat Stadium has been this lively and exciting, despite the unfavorable weather conditions. Thousands of spectators braved the rain to watch and cheer on generations of Vietnamese football.
In addition, during the gala meeting the talented generations, the organizing committee auctioned 4 meaningful items of Vietnamese football and collected 1.4 billion VND. In addition, the amount transferred to the charity fund of the program was more than 180 million VND. In total, the activities from the series of events raised more than 1.82 billion VND.
In the coming time, Omedia Company will cooperate with Ho Chi Minh City Football Federation, along with coaches and famous players in the coming time to use this money to support difficult circumstances and spread the values that football brings.
