The organizing committee of the U.23 Asian qualifiers, Group C, has just announced the ticket prices for the matches of the U.23 Vietnam team. Accordingly, tickets are priced at 100,000 VND, 200,000 VND, and 300,000 VND. The ticket purchasing method is also very specifically instructed, in order to create the best conditions for fans.

In the 2026 AFC U23 Championship qualifiers, the Vietnam U23 team is in Group C with Singapore, Yemen and Bangladesh. Group C will take place at Viet Tri Stadium ( Phu Tho ), from September 3 to 9. According to the regulations, only the top teams, along with the 4 second-placed teams with the best results in the qualifying round (a total of 11 groups) will qualify for the final round (VCK) taking place next year in Saudi Arabia. Therefore, to secure a ticket to the next round, the Vietnam U23 team must win the top spot in Group C.

With this requirement, coach Kim Sang-sik's team must play really well, must be sharper in the forward line. At the 2025 Southeast Asian U.23 tournament, which took place in July, finishing was not the strong point of U.23 Vietnam. The striker who scored the most goals for coach Kim Sang-sik's team in the regional tournament was Nguyen Dinh Bac, with 2 goals (through a total of 4 matches). This is the number of goals only equal to center back Nguyen Hieu Minh.

At the same time, Dinh Bac himself also missed many good opportunities at the 2025 U.23 Southeast Asian tournament, so this striker's scoring efficiency is not high. Other strikers in the list of U.23 Vietnam participating in the U.23 Southeast Asian tournament include Nguyen Quoc Viet and Nguyen Ngoc My, neither of whom scored a goal in the above tournament.

This must change in the upcoming U.23 Asian qualifiers. If the U.23 Vietnam team wants to win the group, we must defeat our opponents Singapore and Bangladesh. To win, U.23 Vietnam must score goals, which means scoring well when there is a chance.

Will the U.23 Vietnam strikers change?

Like Quoc Viet, Dinh Bac will also gain more experience and be strengthened by regularly participating in major tournaments.

This courage and experience is expected to help strikers Dinh Bac and Quoc Viet be calmer and more composed when facing the opponent's goal, doing better than what they did in the U.23 Vietnam team, in the recent Southeast Asian tournament.

In addition to the above strikers, coach Kim Sang-sik can aim for backup options such as promoting attacking midfielders Nguyen Van Truong (Hanoi FC) and Nguyen Duc Viet (Ninh Binh) to play as strikers. Nguyen Duc Viet has not appeared in the 2025 Southeast Asian U.23 tournament, but it is possible that he could be added to the 2026 Asian U.23 qualifying round.
