Tra Linh disburses nearly 26 billion VND in compensation funds for phase 1 of the Border Gate Infrastructure Project - Cao Bang Electronic Newspaper

The project includes a resettlement area, a traffic system and a landfill, which are being implemented to complete border gate infrastructure, expand traffic connections, promote trade and services and develop the socio -economy in border areas.

The project was approved for implementation in the period of 2022 - 2025; implemented from February 2023, divided into two phases. As of August 6, 2025, phase 1 paid compensation to 71/77 households, with a total amount of nearly 26 billion VND. However, 6 households have not received the money and 10 households have received it but have not yet handed over the land. The main reason comes from the request of some households to increase the land compensation price or hope to be granted more resettlement plots. Some households have received the money but are building new houses in the resettlement area so they cannot move immediately.

Phase 2 of the project includes the continuation of the 800-meter-long road system and the land storage area. To date, the land and property inventory of 50/54 households has been completed. The Commune People's Committee aims to complete phase 1 before August 30, 2025 and phase 2 before September 30, 2025.

The Tra Linh Border Gate Infrastructure Project is of great significance in connecting traffic, developing services and trade, and promoting border economic exchanges. Completing on schedule will not only ensure the construction plan but also create motivation to attract investment and improve people's lives.
