Accordingly, the General Department of Taxation requested tax departments of provinces and cities to focus on implementing measures to recover tax debts, propagate and support taxpayers such as: propagating and mobilizing taxpayers to fulfill their obligations to the state budget in accordance with the provisions of law; encouraging taxpayers to install the eTax Mobile application to monitor tax debt situation, receive notifications from tax authorities to promptly fulfill tax payment obligations...

Along with that, tax authorities need to support taxpayers in resolving problems arising when using eTax Mobile, and promptly assign corrections to errors in data reported by taxpayers so that tax management data becomes increasingly accurate.

In addition, the General Department of Taxation requires units to strengthen the implementation of the activities of the steering committee to prevent budget loss and collect local arrears, and work with each taxpayer with large tax debts in the area to urge tax collection.

The representative of the General Department of Taxation said that Official Dispatch No. 4216 aims to ensure the completion of debt collection targets; at the same time, enhance the responsibility of tax departments in completing the task of debt collection in the last months of the year to the state budget, contributing to the completion of the task of collecting the state budget in 2024.
