Within the framework of the State visit to Korea, at noon on August 11 (local time), right after the talks, General Secretary To Lam and Korean President Lee Jae Myung and the high-ranking delegations of the two countries witnessed the ceremony of handing over bilateral cooperation documents between Vietnam and Korea.

Cooperation documents include:

Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam and the Ministry of Science, Information and Communications Technology of Korea on scientific and technological cooperation.

Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of copyright and related rights between the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Korea.

Memorandum of Understanding on Strengthening Renewable Energy Cooperation between the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam and the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Energy of the Republic of Korea.

Memorandum of Understanding on sending and receiving workers to work in Korea under the EPS program, signed between the Ministry of Home Affairs of Vietnam and the Ministry of Labor and Employment of Korea.

Memorandum of Understanding between the State Bank of Vietnam and the Bank of Korea on cooperation and technical assistance related to central banking operations.

Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between the State Securities Commission and the Financial Supervisory Service of Korea.

Agreement to amend and supplement the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam and the Ministry of Education of Korea on educational cooperation.

Memorandum of Understanding on Fisheries Cooperation between the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment of Vietnam and the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries of the Republic of Korea.

Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in human resource development in the field of nuclear energy between the Vietnam National Energy Industry Group and the Korea Electric Power Corporation.

Minutes of agreement to enhance cooperation between the People's Committee of Da Nang City (Vietnam) and the Government of Pyeongtaek City (Korea).

This state visit to Korea is General Secretary To Lam's first visit to Korea as General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam and also the first state visit of a country after Korea had a new government.

The visit is of great significance, creating new momentum and opening up many opportunities for cooperation between the two countries in a new era of development for both peoples.

After more than 30 years since the two countries established diplomatic relations, the relationship between Vietnam and Korea has become a very special, effective and substantive model of relationship.

The bilateral relationship has reached its highest level, a comprehensive strategic partnership, and political trust is at a very high level due to substantive cooperation in many fields that have brought practical benefits to the people and businesses of the two countries./.
