On the afternoon of January 14, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee held a meeting and extended New Year greetings to typical enterprises on the occasion of preparing to welcome the Lunar New Year of At Ty 2025. Representatives of the Department of Planning and Investment reported on the economic development situation - provincial associations; leaders of the Provincial Business Association reported on the results of production and business activities and implementation of social security policies of the business community.

According to assessment reports, in 2024, despite many difficulties, the business community in the province has strived to rise up, maintain development and protect jobs, stable income for workers. Enterprises have actively contributed to the socio-economic development results of the province with GRDP growth reaching 7.01%. The province's FDI attraction reached more than 1.1 billion USD, ranking 12th out of 63 provinces and cities nationwide. This is the third consecutive year that Thai Binh has had more than 1,000 newly established enterprises, creating jobs for 310,000 workers. The business community of the province has done a good job in social security, sharing with the community, and humanitarian charity. On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024 alone, enterprises supported and presented nearly 40,000 Tet gifts to poor and near-poor households in difficult circumstances with a total value of nearly 17 billion VND.

At the meeting, the Provincial Business Association launched a campaign for the business community to join hands in giving Tet gifts to policy beneficiaries in difficult circumstances, poor households, and near-poor households on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025. Up to now, businessmen and businesses have registered to support nearly 35,000 Tet gifts with a total value of nearly 17 billion VND.
