According to the National Assembly Office, the 32nd session of the National Assembly Standing Committee took place with a total working time of 4 days (from the afternoon of April 15 to the morning of April 22).

At the meeting, the National Assembly Standing Committee will give opinions on the draft Law and Ordinance Development Program for 2025 and adjust the Law and Ordinance Development Program for 2024 (including considering the proposal to develop a Draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Supervisory Activities of the National Assembly and People's Councils).

Regarding law-making, the National Assembly Standing Committee will give opinions on the Draft Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Pharmacy; the Draft Law on Cultural Heritage (amended); the Draft Law on Juvenile Justice; the Draft Law on Value Added Tax (amended); and the Draft Law on Urban and Rural Planning.

Regarding supervision work, the National Assembly Standing Committee will give opinions on the report on the results of the implementation of the Supervision Program in 2023 and the first months of 2024, the planned Supervision Program in 2025 of the National Assembly and the National Assembly Standing Committee; review the summary report on the results of supervision of legal documents in the areas under the responsibility of the Ethnic Council and the Committees of the National Assembly in 2023.

The National Assembly Standing Committee gave initial comments on the draft Report on the results of the thematic supervision of "Implementation of policies and laws on ensuring traffic order and safety from 2009 to the end of 2023"; reviewed the results of the supervision of the National Assembly's supervision delegation on "Implementation of Resolution No. 43/2022/QH15 dated January 11, 2022 of the National Assembly on fiscal and monetary policies to support the Socio-economic Recovery and Development Program and the National Assembly's resolutions on a number of important national projects until the end of 2023"; reviewed the National Assembly's report on people's petitions in March 2024.

The National Assembly Standing Committee also considered the Submission on the proposal to adjust the investment policy of the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas for the 2021-2023 period; gave opinions on Submission No. 112/TTr-CP dated March 28, 2024 of the Government on the Pre-Feasibility Study Report on the Investment Project to build the North-South Expressway in the West, Gia Nghia (Dak Nong) - Chon Thanh (Binh Phuoc) section; gave opinions on the preparation for the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly and considered a number of other important contents within its authority.
