On the morning of September 30, speaking with VietNamNet , Ms. NTL (parent of a student of NHH) studying in class 4B, Dinh Tien Hoang Primary School, Ninh Binh City (Ninh Binh) said that she had just sent a petition to the school with the hope of protecting her child while studying here.
“I heard some parents say that my son came home from school and said that his friends searched his bag and refused to play with him. So I had to file a complaint with the school to protect my son. The school responded that this did not happen,” said Ms. L.
In the same petition sent to the school, Ms. L. proposed to install cameras in her child's classroom. She volunteered to pay the cost and wanted to ask other parents' opinions on this matter.
Regarding this, Mr. Do Van Tu, Principal of Dinh Tien Hoang Primary School confirmed that he had received a complaint from the parent about her child being isolated. Mr. Tu said that after receiving the complaint, the school verified and determined that there was no such thing as the parent had stated.
According to the school’s verification report, student H. (Ms. L.’s child) had his school bag searched once by a classmate but nothing was stolen, not many times as the complaint stated. In addition, a classmate told H. that “it was because of him that Ms. V. stopped teaching our class,” causing the student to cry – this was an incident that could have made H. think and tell her mother that no one played with her in class.
"Regarding the teacher accused of insulting, offending, and forcing students to take extra classes, the school is taking verification steps according to regulations and instructions from the Department of Education," said Mr. Tu.
Previously, after receiving a complaint from Ms. L. about her child being insulted, abused, and forced to attend extra classes, Dinh Tien Hoang Primary School investigated and asked Ms. NTV to write a report. The school also temporarily suspended Ms. V. from teaching from September 25 to clarify the incident.
