Many people come to the two "field" pickleball courts designed right on the walking street to get rackets lent by the coaches of the sport, the Ho Chi Minh City Tennis - Pickleball Federation, and to interact with famous athletes such as Ly Hoang Nam and Trinh Linh Giang. "The new sport of pickleball is developing strongly in Vietnam. We want to introduce this interesting game and it is surprising that it has created a great attraction for people here, including many international tourists", Ms. Nguyen Thi Kieu My, Head of the Ho Chi Minh City Tennis - Pickleball Department, shared.
"I have been to Ho Chi Minh City many times, but this is the first time I have witnessed such a vibrant sports atmosphere right on the walking street. My wife and I just finished playing chess, now we are playing pickleball. The Vietnamese athletes play pickleball very well, beyond my expectations," said Eric Roddy, from the US.

The "Healthy to build and protect the Fatherland" week program takes place from October 29 to November 3.
