Goalkeeper Bui Tien Dung leaves Ho Chi Minh City Club to join SHB Da Nang Club

Goalkeeper Bui Tien Dung has only returned to Ho Chi Minh City FC since the beginning of the 2024-2025 season. That was the time when the city team had not yet renewed the contract with overseas Vietnamese goalkeeper Patrik Le Giang.

However, after that, Patrik Le Giang and Ho Chi Minh City FC reached an agreement, this Vietnamese-American goalkeeper stayed with Ho Chi Minh City FC. Therefore, Bui Tien Dung has had very little "room to perform" in the city team's jersey since the beginning of the season until now.

This goalkeeper decided to leave when V-League temporarily stopped to make room for the national team to compete in AFF Cup 2024. Bui Tien Dung's destination is SHB Da Nang.

Today, the Han River football team announced that goalkeeper Bui Tien Dung is officially a member of SHB Da Nang. They hope that Bui Tien Dung's talent and experience will help SHB Da Nang stabilize the position of goalkeeper.

Goalkeeper Bui Tien Dung was the bright star of the Vietnam U23 team at the 2018 U23 Asian Cup. However, after the tournament, Bui Tien Dung did not develop as expected, and he did not have a regular place in the national team in the following years.

This goalkeeper used to play for Thanh Hoa, Ho Chi Minh City Club and Hoang Anh Gia Lai in the V-League. Now, he leaves Ho Chi Minh City Club to join SHB Da Nang.
