According to the announcement of Ho Chi Minh City University of Law, it is expected that on August 18, the school will announce the admission score based on the 2024 high school graduation exam scores.

The school has also announced the threshold to ensure input quality for the admission method based on the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam to enroll students in full-time university training programs. Accordingly, the minimum admission score ranges from 20 to 24 points.

The entrance threshold score includes regional priority points and policy priority points according to the regulations of the Admission Regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the school.

Last year, the admission score to Ho Chi Minh City University of Law ranged from 22.91 to 27.11 points. Of which, the Law major (group C00) had the highest admission score. The next was the International Commercial Law major, which took 26.86 points in all admission groups at the school (A01, D01, D66, D84).

As of the time the online registration portal was closed (5:00 p.m. on July 30, 2024), the general admission support system of the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) recorded a total of more than 733,000 candidates who had entered their admission wishes, equivalent to 68.5% of the number of candidates registering for the 2024 high school graduation exam.

According to the plan of the Ministry of Education and Training, the virtual filtering for university admission will take place from August 13 to 5:00 p.m. on August 17 and will be carried out 6 times.

After the final virtual filtering round is completed, schools will enter the admission scores and admission results into the system, review and prepare to announce the first round of admission results according to the general schedule.
