China's Shenzhou-19 spacecraft successfully docks with Tiangong lab

On the morning of October 30, China launched the Shenzhou-19 spacecraft carrying three astronauts to the Tiangong space station. The launch took place on a Long March 2F rocket from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in Gansu Province, northwest China. According to the announcement of the commander of the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, all three astronauts are in good health and the launch was successful.

The Shenzhou-19 astronauts will assume command of the Tiangong space station when their Shenzhou-18 colleagues return to Earth in the coming days. During the mission, the Shenzhou-19 crew will conduct 86 space scientific research and technical tests, conduct extraterrestrial activities, and install equipment to protect the Tiangong space station from space debris.

In addition, astronauts also participate in scientific education activities, community welfare activities and perform a number of load tests during their missions.
