Implementing Directive No. 41/CT-TTg dated November 6, 2024 of the Prime Minister on focusing on drastic and synchronous implementation of solutions to prevent and control African Swine Fever, on November 8, 2024, the Provincial People's Committee issued Document No. 2351/UBND-NNTNMT on implementing Directive No. 41/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister on focusing on drastic and synchronous implementation of solutions to prevent and control African Swine Fever. Accordingly, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has the following instructions:

The departments and branches: Finance, Home Affairs, Industry and Trade, Health, Information and Communications, Provincial Police, Market Management Department of Ha Nam province and People's Committees of districts, towns and cities, according to their functions and tasks, proactively implement within their authority the direction of the Prime Minister in Directive No. 41/CT-TTg dated November 6, 2024, of the Provincial People's Committee in Document No. 1394/UBND-NNTNMT dated July 22, 2024; synthesize and report the implementation results, propose to the Provincial People's Committee (through the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development) to resolve any problems arising during the implementation process.

Department of Agriculture and Rural Development: Directs specialized agencies and units to regularly guide, inspect, and coordinate the strict implementation of disease prevention and control in localities, especially in places where there have been epidemics or are at risk of epidemics; proactively and closely monitor the epidemic situation, ensure early detection, warning and direct timely and thorough handling of outbreaks, and prevent widespread epidemics; coordinate and guide the construction of disease-safe livestock areas and facilities; urge departments, branches, and localities to implement the direction of the Prime Minister and the Provincial People's Committee; periodically report on implementation results, advise and propose to the Provincial People's Committee to resolve problems arising during the implementation process according to regulations.
