Lao Cai – Coming to Ta Van village in mid-August, a female tourist from Hanoi shared that she felt like she was entering a rustic and peaceful world.
Ta Van village is located only about 12km from Sa Pa town with a fairly easy route. Visitors can drive themselves, or hire a taxi or motorbike taxi to experience the ripe rice season, which lasts from mid-August to October. Embracing the ripening fields is a mountain range hidden in the clouds and mist of the Northwest. “I have been to Sa Pa many times but this is the first time I have been to Ta Van village. Without the hustle and bustle, the nature of Ta Van gives me a feeling of being “healed”, Ms. Kim Le (30 years old) shared after a 2-day, 1-night trip to Ta Van. When arriving at Ta Van, the female tourist from Hanoi was impressed by the majestic and poetic natural scenery here. The scene before her eyes was a vast expanse of green terraced fields, faintly tinged with the golden color of heavy rice fields. The scenery here is both majestic and soft, peaceful, captivating the hearts of travelers. The air in Ta Van is fresh and pleasant, and the people are very hospitable. In addition, some cafes and homestays in Ta Van have invested in space and quality to help enhance the experience for tourists. Ta Van is a great place for tourists to walk or trek around the terraced fields along the winding stream. Or immerse yourself in the living and working atmosphere of the H'Mong, Giay and Red Dao ethnic groups to explore the culture of the people here. “I will return to Ta Van to once again fully admire the beautiful natural scenery of a corner of the Northwest mountains and forests,” said Kim Le. In addition to the ripe rice season gradually covering Ta Van, in Y Ty there are also a number of places for tourists to admire the golden color of the highlands during the September 2nd holiday.
