Exciting Pickleball tournament for Dang Quang Watch Cup in Hanoi

Since the morning of August 16, hundreds of athletes have been present at the Happy Land stadium cluster to check-in, warm up and prepare for the top matches.

This year's tournament has a total of 4 categories, including 5.5 amateur men's doubles, 7.6 men's doubles, KOL women's doubles and Open men's doubles.

The 5.5 amateur men's doubles category attracted a record number of registered athletes with 170 teams participating. Some famous actors and artists also participated, such as Tu Long. The organizing committee decided on the play-off and knockout format. Although it was an amateur category, many athletes from Ha Nam , Thai Nguyen, Quang Ninh, and Bac Ninh provinces did not mind the long journey to Hanoi to compete.

Starting from 7:30 a.m., by the evening of August 16, the men's doubles 5.5 category had just found the first, second, and third prizes. Accordingly, the championship belonged to the Minh Quang Ninh /Ninh pair; the second prize belonged to the Vu Viet Hung/Nguyen Minh Toan pair, along with two third-place teams including the Toan Tu Liem/Duy Pham pairs and Tien/Viet Anh pairs.

In the KOL women's doubles category, a total of 35 teams registered to compete. As a result, first prize went to the pair Diep/Phuong Anh Tiny; second prize went to the pair Vu Yen Ngoc/Vu Ngoc Diep; and third prize went to the pairs Nhung Le/MP and Vu Tra My/Ha Thi Hoa Binh .

The most popular event at this tournament is the Open men's doubles category with the participation of many top Vietnamese Pickleball players such as Ly Hoang Nam/Trinh Linh Giang; Dat Tro/Trieu Badminton; Tri Chuot/Linh Muoi.

The dramatic and emotional match for the audience was the Quarterfinal match when the pair of athletes Ly Hoang Nam/Trinh Linh Giang faced Tri Chuoc/Linh Muoi. Despite being behind by a large margin, the pair Tri Chuot/Linh Muoi persistently chased after, leveled the gap and won with a score of 15-14 to enter the semi-finals.

However, due to injury, the pair Tri Chuot/Linh Muoi asked not to participate in the semi-final match, thereby, the athlete pair Dat Tro/Trieu Badminton went straight to the final match. In the final match, Dat Tro/Trieu Badminton easily overcame the athlete pair Pham Nhat Minh/Nguyen Viet Hoang.

According to tournament referees and pickleball enthusiasts, the Manh CK Tournament 2025 Dang Quang Watch has high professional quality, the athletes compete with all their might and leave many emotions for the audience.
