Southeast Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SeABank - HoSE: SSB) has just announced the Resolution of the Board of Directors on approving the last registration date to exercise the right to nominate and run for personnel to elect additional members of the Board of Directors for the 2023 - 2028 term.

Accordingly, the last registration date to exercise the right is December 22, 2023. The number of members elected to the Board of Directors is one person. The specific list of candidates has not been announced by the bank.

According to the management report for the first 6 months of 2023, SeABank's Board of Directors currently has 9 members, including Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Le Van Tan, Ms. Nguyen Thi Nga as Permanent Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Ms. Le Thu Thuy - Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director, Ms. Khuc Thi Quynh Lam - Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors/non-executive member.

In addition, the remaining 5 members include Mr. Hoang Minh Tan, Mr. Bui Trung Kien, Ms. Ngo Thi Nhai, Mr. Mathew Nevil Welch and independent member Mr. Fergus Macdonald Clark.

SeABank transferred all of its capital contributions at Post and Telecommunication Finance Company Limited (PTF) to the transferee, AEON Financial Service.

At the same time, SeABank also conducted a written shareholder consultation to approve the transfer of all of the bank's capital contributions at Post and Telecommunication Finance Company Limited (PTF) to the transferee, AEON Financial Service.

Previously, at the end of October, SeABank signed a contract to transfer all of its PTF capital contribution to AEON Financial Service, a member of the financial sector of AEON Group. The announced transfer price was VND4,300 billion.

Post and Telecommunication Finance Company Limited (PTF) was established in October 1998, is a non-bank credit institution, and SeABank received 100% of its capital contribution transferred from Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) in 2018 .
