In Decision No. 1652/QD-TTg dated December 26, the Prime Minister decided to merge Hai Duong Medical College under the People's Committee of Hai Duong province into Hai Duong Medical Technical University under the Ministry of Health.

The Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Health and the People's Committee of Hai Duong province to direct relevant agencies and units to hand over and receive the personnel, finance, assets, and students of Hai Duong Medical College to Hai Duong Medical Technical University under the Ministry of Health in accordance with the provisions of law.

During the merger and reorganization process, it is necessary to ensure normal operations, legitimate rights and interests of related parties, and to avoid negativity, loss, and waste of finance and assets.

The Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Education and Training to direct and guide Hai Duong Medical Technical University on training and granting degrees to students studying at Hai Duong Medical College in accordance with the provisions of law.

In Decision No. 1653/QD-TTg dated December 26, the Prime Minister decided to merge Nghe An Pedagogical College into Nghe An University of Economics and change the name of Nghe An University of Economics to Nghe An University under the People's Committee of Nghe An province.

Nghe An University is a public university with legal status, its own seal and account and operates in accordance with the provisions of law.

The Prime Minister assigned the People's Committee of Nghe An province to direct Nghe An University of Economics, Nghe An Pedagogical College and relevant agencies and units to carry out the handover and acceptance of the personnel, finance, assets and students of Nghe An Pedagogical College in accordance with the provisions of law.

The Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Education and Training to direct and guide Nghe An University on training and granting degrees to students studying at Nghe An Pedagogical College in accordance with the provisions of law.

Hai Duong Medical College is a public school under the People's Committee of Hai Duong province, training nursing, midwifery and intermediate medical staff.

Last June, Hai Duong Medical College announced that it would stop enrolling students from the 2024-2025 school year to prepare for the merger. For candidates who have submitted their applications in 2024, the school hopes that candidates will understand.

For Hai Duong Medical Technical University, this is one of 11 higher education institutions under the Ministry of Health, training in medicine, nursing, and medical engineering at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Nghe An Pedagogical College was established in 1959 with the function of training, retraining, regular training, and fostering educational management staff and service staff for Kindergartens, Primary Schools, Secondary Schools...

In addition to the achievements, Nghe An Pedagogical College still has some limitations such as the training majors are increasingly narrowing, some junior high school teacher training majors cannot enroll students (from the 2021-2022 school year, the school is only assigned to enroll students in one preschool major, with an enrollment target of 200 students/year).
