Huong Thuy enhances the value of creation, close to the people to serve the people

Huong Thuy Ward was established on the basis of merging three administrative units: Thuy Luong Ward, Thuy Chau Ward and Thuy Tan Commune of Huong Thuy Town (old).

The Huong Thuy Ward People's Council has the task of evaluating the goals and targets that the Resolution of the 2020-2025 term People's Council has achieved in the past 5 years. That is, the total social investment capital reached over 2,506 billion VND; the average income per capita by 2025 is estimated to reach 72.04 million VND.

The education sector has developed comprehensively, ensuring quality and efficiency; the health care work for the people has been increasingly improved. The ward has done a good job of caring for people with meritorious services, social security policies, vocational training, job creation, etc.

The goal that the Party Congress of Huong Thuy Ward set for the new term is to build a clean and strong Party Committee. By 2030, strive to become a ward with fairly developed socio -economic conditions, with the economic structure clearly shifting towards "services - industry, construction - agriculture".

The average annual growth rate of total state budget revenue in the area is from 12.4-15.2%; the average income per capita in the area by 2030 compared to 2025 will increase by 66.57%. By 2030, Huong Thuy ward will have no more poor households (except for households with disabilities)...

Directing at the congress, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Pham Duc Tien requested that in the coming time, with new development space and new management and operation models, the ward Party Committee needs to change its thinking, be more proactive and creative to exploit and promote effectively the potential and advantages of economic development and the key urban area in the South of Hue City.

The new Party Executive Committee of the ward needs to continue to lead, direct, and thoroughly disseminate to all Party members, cadres, and people the Party's policies on administrative units at all levels, and the organization of a two-level local government model; proactively and promptly grasp issues arising from the grassroots; enhance the role of service at the public administrative center, enhance the value of creation, serving the people, being close to the people, and being close to the people; thereby, creating conditions to promote economic, social, and other development fields in the locality.

The Congress announced the decisions of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee on the delegation to attend the 17th Congress of the Hue City Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030. Mr. Ngo Van Vinh was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Huong Thuy Ward Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030.

Phong Quang continues to focus on and innovate leadership and direction work.

Phong Quang Ward was merged from the communes and wards of Phong Hai, Quang Cong and Quang Ngan. Currently, the ward party committee has 49 party organizations with 578 party members.

The Phong Quang Ward Party Congress evaluated the results of the implementation of the Resolution of the Congress for the 2020-2025 term; in which, it analyzed in depth and clarified the outstanding achievements in the fields of: Economy, culture - society, national defense - security, foreign affairs. From there, the Congress pointed out the limitations, weaknesses and causes; made an overall assessment and lessons learned in the leadership and direction of the implementation of the Resolution for the 2020-2025 term.

The congress also pointed out five lessons from the past term. These are: firmly upholding the comprehensive leadership role of the Party Committee; promoting democracy, building solidarity; daring to think, daring to do, daring to take responsibility, saying what you do; building a team of responsible and meticulous cadres; strengthening inspection and supervision work, using good examples to replicate, and taking mistakes as warning lessons.

In the 2025 - 2030 term, Phong Quang Ward Party Committee is determined to successfully implement 10 main targets; 3 key programs; 3 key projects and works. That is, mobilizing resources to invest in Vinh Tu bridge project, coastal road; upgrading key roads in the area; investing in the Tam Giang East dike project, coastal erosion and landslide embankment at key points.

The Phong Quang Ward Party Committee determined that it is necessary to continue to pay more attention to and innovate leadership, direction, administration and implementation; administrative reform; improve the operational efficiency of the Fatherland Front and mass organizations, socio-political organizations; develop tourism and services into spearhead economic sectors; develop marine and lagoon economies; promote private economic development; develop infrastructure; improve people's living standards; maintain political security - social order and safety.

Directing at the congress, Head of the City Party Committee's Inspection Commission Pham Thi Minh Hue pointed out: Phong Quang's economic scale is still small, the management of natural resources and environment still has difficulties; forest management and protection are not guaranteed; encroachment on public land for illegal construction still occurs and has not been completely handled.

Ms. Pham Thi Minh Hue requested: In the new term, Phong Quang Ward Party Committee must renew its thinking to further develop; maintain solidarity and unity within the Party and Party members; innovate leadership, direction and management methods. Effectively exploit the potential and advantages of the sea and lagoon areas; protect the environment and forests; build synchronous infrastructure with key and model roads, create regional linkages for development; strive for the ward to have no poor households by 2030.

Building Nam Dong commune to soon meet advanced new rural standards

179 delegates representing the will and actions of more than 640 party members of the entire Nam Dong commune Party Committee attended the congress. Over the past 5 years of implementing the resolutions of the party congresses of the communes before the merger (Thuong Nhat, Huong Xuan, Huong Son), the party committee has focused on leadership, direction, and management with many innovations, always upholding the principles of democratic centralism, intellectual concentration, promoting the collective role; building and consolidating internal solidarity.

The Party's leadership role is increasingly enhanced; the government's activities ensure effectiveness and efficiency, and the role of the front and people's organizations is promoted. The socio-economy develops, national defense and security are maintained, the political system is consolidated, the material and spiritual life of the people is improved, social security is ensured; the strength of the great national unity bloc is promoted, creating social consensus.

Notably, the economy has developed in all sectors and fields; the total product value, agriculture still accounts for the majority (in 2025, the proportion of agriculture is 59.51%, trade and services 22.76%, small industry and construction 17.74%). The total investment capital implemented in the area increases by an average of 17.2% annually; the state budget revenue in the area in the period of 2021 - 2025 is 8.29 billion VND; the average income per capita by 2025 will reach 48 million VND/year.

The Congress focused on discussing and setting out directions and tasks for the 2025-2030 term with the following goals: Improving the leadership capacity of the Party Committee and the entire political system; promoting the tradition of solidarity, focusing on economic development, improving the material and spiritual life of the people; ensuring social security, protecting the environment; promoting the application of science and digital transformation, innovation; maintaining national defense and security; building a clean, strong, effective and efficient Party Committee and political system; striving to build Nam Dong commune to meet advanced new rural standards.

The Congress determined the economic structure for the 2025-2030 term: Agriculture - Services, Tourism - Industry, Construction with 12 implementation targets; 3 key programs: New rural construction; tourism and service development; administrative reform associated with digital transformation.

Directing at the congress, Head of the City Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee Dang Ngoc Tran acknowledged and commended the achievements of the Party Committee and people of Nam Dong commune in the past term and requested the commune Party Committee to soon stabilize the organization and apparatus in the political system, arrange competent and professional cadres to effectively operate the two-level local government apparatus.

In the new term, the Party Committee focuses on attaching importance to and effectively implementing key tasks of Party building in terms of politics, ideology, ethics, organization and cadres. Upholding the Party's principles and regulations and the working regulations of the Party Committee; improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization and Party members; preventing and repelling the degradation of political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, and manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" within the Party, in conjunction with promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics and lifestyle; strictly implementing regulations on setting an example.

Nam Dong needs to strengthen links with other localities to create a large enough quantity of goods; connect to bring agricultural products into distribution channels, ensure stable output for production, stimulate production development, and improve people's lives.
