For flight crew members, technical staff, and aviation operators, it is necessary to make a list of candidates requesting a Flight Crew Member Certificate (Illustration photo).

To be granted a Flight Crew Certificate, the aircraft operator must submit a set of documents directly or via the postal system, or electronically to the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam.

The fee for the procedure to issue a Flight Crew Certificate is 200,000 VND/time/person.

Within 3 working days from the date of receipt of the dossier including the flight crew list and accompanying documents, the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam will review and notify the completeness and validity of the dossier.

Within 4 working days from the date the application is determined to be valid, the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam shall complete the procedures to issue the Flight Crew Member Certificate to qualified applicants.

In the application, it is necessary to provide full relevant documents on the flight crew members' qualifications.

Specifically, a copy or electronic copy of the aircraft operator's request letter with a list of applicants for a Flight Crew Certificate is required. In particular, for flight crew members and technical staff, the operator needs to make a list of applicants for the certificate.

For flight attendants and other flight personnel, operators must establish a list and training and proficiency testing results that meet aviation safety requirements for in-flight duties.
