According to Decision No. 2256/QD-UBND approving the Project on recovery and sustainable development of Quang Ninh Tourism Industry to 2025, with a vision to 2030, issued on August 8, 2023, Quang Ninh strives to develop tourism into a truly spearhead economic sector, affirming its role as a regional and international tourism center, a leading national tourism destination, contributing 15% to GRDP by 2030.

According to this project, Quang Ninh is determined to become a tourist center connecting with the region and the world, a leading national tourist destination, and a high-class entertainment resort center.

Tourism has a synchronous and modern infrastructure system; diverse, unique, high-quality tourism products, strong brands and global appeal, high competitiveness, effective links with leading international airlines, cruise lines, and tourism corporations; Quang Ninh tourism continues to be a key economic sector, a driving force for rapid and sustainable socio-economic development and contributes to ensuring national defense and security.
