The conference was held live and online at 4,322 locations, with over 2,950 officials, party members, and outstanding businessmen nationwide attending.

Attending and directing the conference at the Central bridge point were comrades: Nguyen Trong Nghia, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department; Le Minh Khai, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister; Pham Tan Cong, Secretary of the Party Delegation, Chairman of the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry.

Comrade Vu Xuan Cuong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council attended and chaired the conference at the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee bridge.

Attending the conference at the Lao Cai provincial bridge were also members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Executive Committee; leaders of departments, branches, sectors, armed forces of the province; reporters, and typical businessmen. The conference was connected to 170 bridges at departments, branches, districts, towns, cities and some communes in the province with over 7,600 delegates attending.

At the conference, comrade Nguyen Duc Hien, Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission, reported on the main content of Resolution No. 41-NQ/TW of the Politburo on building and promoting the role of Vietnamese entrepreneurs in the new period.

The report clearly states the role, importance, viewpoints, goals, 7 main tasks and solutions of Resolution No. 41-NQ/TW.

The goal of the Resolution is to develop a strong team of entrepreneurs in terms of quantity, quality, reasonable structure, vision, intelligence, ethics, entrepreneurial spirit, legitimate enrichment, dynamism, creativity, advanced management capacity, law compliance, ethics, business culture with national identity; social responsibility, environmental protection awareness, making worthy contributions to the country's development goals.

To achieve the above goal, Resolution No. 41-NQ/TW sets out 7 main tasks, solutions and implementation to promote the role of Vietnamese entrepreneurs in the new period.

The conference listened to Comrade Le Minh Khai, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister, report on the Government's action program to implement Resolution No. 41-NQ/TW. Comrade Pham Tan Cong, Secretary of the Party Delegation, President of the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry, presented a report on the action program of the VCCI Party Delegation to implement Resolution No. 41-NQ/TW.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department, emphasized the role and special importance of Resolution No. 41 of the Politburo; the attention of the Party and State to the team of entrepreneurs and enterprise development.

The Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Head of the Central Propaganda Department requested that in the coming time, the Central Economic Committee, the Party Delegation of the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry, and all levels, sectors and localities thoroughly grasp and effectively implement the contents of Resolution No. 41-NQ/TW to promote the role of Vietnamese entrepreneurs in the new era. For entrepreneurs and enterprises, it is necessary to focus on implementing ethics, corporate culture, fair competition, actively preventing and combating negativity, embezzlement and corruption in business, and making positive contributions to the development of society.

At the Lao Cai provincial bridge, right after the end of the conference, comrade Vu Xuan Cuong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, gave a speech directing and disseminating Action Program No. 329-CTr/TU dated January 12, 2024 of the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on implementing Resolution No. 41-NQ/TW.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized: In recent years, with the motto "Businesses prosper, Lao Cai develops", the province has always paid attention to the business community and created favorable conditions for businesses to develop.

In the coming time, implementing Action Program No. 329-CTr/TU dated January 12, 2024 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, district Party Committees, town Party Committees, city Party Committees, and Party Committees directly under the Provincial Party Committee shall develop action programs and plans to implement Resolution No. 41 to ensure feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness; annually check the progress of implementing the proposed action programs. The government, the Fatherland Front, and socio-political organizations at all levels shall develop plans to implement Resolution No. 41 at their level, specifying them with specific goals and targets for each field and condition, ensuring effective implementation of the resolution. Party committees at all levels shall direct the promotion of propaganda and education on the position and role of the business community in the current period.

Along with that, the business community needs to be aware of their role and responsibility for the construction of Lao Cai in the new period. Media agencies should promote the dissemination of the core content and new points of Resolution No. 41 in appropriate forms.
