Phu Quoc: Fireworks 120 barrels to celebrate National Day September 2

On August 20, Mr. Nguyen Le Quoc Toan, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Quoc Special Zone ( An Giang ), said that he had just signed and approved a plan to organize propaganda activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

Accordingly, Phu Quoc will organize the firing of 120 barrels of fireworks from 9:00 p.m. to 9:10 p.m. on September 2, at the breakwater at the mouth of Duong Dong River.

Before the fireworks, from 7pm to 9pm on September 2, at the Phu Quoc Special Zone Culture, Sports and Broadcasting Center, there will be an art program with the theme of praising the homeland. There will also be a miniature photo shoot scene combined with historical film footage from August 31 to September 2.

In addition, Phu Quoc also organizes competitions, sports exchanges, mass arts and photo exhibitions with the theme "Phu Quoc past and present".

According to the People's Committee of Phu Quoc Special Zone, the activities were organized to affirm the position, stature, and great historical value of the August Revolution and the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam in the history of the nation's struggle to build and defend the country; the leadership role of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President Ho Chi Minh in the cause of national liberation, building and defending the Fatherland; thereby, arousing pride in the country's heroic historical tradition to create motivation and inspiration for our nation to enter a new era.
