Ha Dong Social Policy Bank Transaction Office: Nearly 6,000 customers borrowed capital from 7 programs

On July 12, Deputy Director of the Transaction Office of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP) Ha Dong Pham Thi Lien said that as of June 30, 2025, the total outstanding balance of the unit's credit programs reached VND 506,321 million, an increase of VND 3,628 million compared to the beginning of the year, a decrease of VND 51,388 million compared to the previous month due to the transfer of outstanding balance to the VBSP Chuong My transaction office after the administrative unit arrangement.

Currently, the Transaction Office is in charge of lending in 5 wards: Ha Dong, Duong Noi, Kien Hung, Yen Nghia, Phu Luong, with 5,956 customers borrowing capital in 7 credit programs. Outstanding loans are calculated by trust unit, through 3 socio-political organizations: Women's Union with 82 savings and loan groups, 3,320 customers, outstanding loans of 278,767 million VND; Veterans Association with 42 savings and loan groups, 1,757 customers, outstanding loans of 151,387 million VND; Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union with 20 savings and loan groups, 878 customers, outstanding loans of 75,604 million VND.

The Transaction Office has closely coordinated with associations and organizations, and the People's Committees of wards to closely monitor and urge the collection of 100% of due debts. The management of policy credit capital has achieved good results, safely and effectively, with no overdue or frozen debts.

Providing more information about the operating area of the Transaction Office after the administrative arrangement of the localities, Ms. Pham Thi Lien said that, implementing Decision No. 51/QD-HDQT dated June 26, 2025 of the Board of Directors of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP) on renaming the VBSP transaction offices, the Ha Dong District VBSP Transaction Office was renamed to the Ha Dong VBSP Transaction Office. Currently, the Transaction Office still serves the former Ha Dong district area, now the area of 5 wards: Ha Dong, Kien Hung, Duong Noi, Phu Luong and Yen Nghia.

Regarding the tasks for the last 6 months of 2025, the Ha Dong Social Policy Bank Transaction Office focuses on implementing the credit plan targets assigned by the city, maintaining the network of transaction points, serving the people in a stable, smooth, safe and effective manner. Continue to maintain the operation of current savings and loan groups according to the residential area to promptly transfer preferential credit capital from the State to policy beneficiaries, helping to minimize costs for people when borrowing capital at the Social Policy Bank.
