At the meeting, the representative of Khun Ha Commune People's Committee reported on the situation of rural agricultural production; prevention of African swine fever; prevention and overcoming of consequences of natural disasters. Accordingly, the commune currently has 822 hectares of rice, with a yield of more than 53 quintals/ha; 485 hectares of tea, with an estimated output of fresh tea buds in 6 months of more than 1,500 tons; more than 444 hectares of cardamom, 29.5 hectares of Lai Chau ginseng and some other medicinal plants.

The work of preventing African swine fever was vigorously implemented by the commune; after the positive test results, the People's Committee of the commune issued a decision to declare the epidemic and established the Steering Committee for African swine fever prevention and control in the commune to implement the work of preventing and controlling the epidemic. By August 13, 2025, the number of pigs culled in the commune was 110 with a weight of more than 8,000 kg.

Along with that, the commune also pays attention to and implements the work of natural disaster prevention and control. The commune has completed the organization and apparatus of the Command Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control, Search and Rescue; and implemented the work according to the motto "4 on-site".
