On the occasion of the 94th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's Traditional Day (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2024), on the afternoon of November 2, Comrade Lai The Nguyen, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Thanh Hoa province attended and celebrated the National Great Unity Day with the cadres and people of Hung Tien village, Xuan Binh commune (Nhu Xuan); attended the announcement of the Decision to recognize Hung Tien village as a model new rural area in 2024; and celebrated the 60th anniversary of the establishment of Hung Tien village (February 1964 - February 2024).

Also attending were representatives of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Office, the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council; leaders of Nhu Xuan district and a large number of people from Hung Tien village, Xuan Binh commune.

In the joyful and exciting atmosphere of the festival, Comrade Lai The Nguyen, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, together with delegates and people of Hung Tien village, reviewed the 94-year history of the establishment and growth of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; evaluated the implementation of patriotic emulation campaigns and movements in the past time and launched the emulation movement in 2024 and 2025.

Performance at the Festival.

In 1964, Hung Tien village was established on the basis of households in Hoang Trach commune, Hoang Hoa district who migrated to reclaim land, settle down, develop the economy, and build Party cells in mountainous areas according to the policies of the Party and State.

Over the past years, under the leadership and direction of Party committees at all levels, the government, cadres and people of Hung Tien village have always united and agreed to well implement the Party's policies and the State's laws. At the same time, they have worked hard, produced, improved their material and spiritual lives, joined hands to build new rural areas, actively participated in patriotic emulation movements and campaigns launched by the Fatherland Front at all levels, and maintained security, order and social safety.

Movements to build cultural life and a strong political system at the grassroots level have been well implemented. Attention has been paid to the promotion of learning and talent from families, clans, and residential areas. Education, health care, and environmental sanitation have been given attention. Rural infrastructure has been invested in and built, in which the village has upgraded and expanded 4.3km of rural roads.

The work of mobilizing the entire population to participate in environmental protection, the movement of environmental self-management and the construction of "bright - green - clean - beautiful - safe" residential areas has many clear changes. 100% of the roads have lighting, flowers and trees are planted along both sides of the road. The total budget for mobilizing resources to build model villages has reached over 4.3 billion VND. Up to now, the average income per capita of the village has reached over 68 million VND/year; in 2024, 81.7% of the households in the village will be recognized as cultural families...

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Lai The Nguyen spoke with the people and officials of Hung Tien village, Xuan Binh commune.

Speaking with the people and cadres of Hung Tien village, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Lai The Nguyen was delighted with the beautiful and prosperous new rural picture that the cadres and people in the village have built. He congratulated the results that the cadres and people of Hung Tien village have achieved in the past time, especially the village being recognized as a model village.

He suggested that in the coming time: The Party Committee and the Village Front Committee continue to mobilize the people to promote the good traditions in the village with the spirit of love, sharing, helping each other, striving to build a comprehensive model village in all aspects. Along with that, the people promote production, shift the structure of crops and livestock, aiming to have clean, good quality products to serve life and consumption. Develop livestock to ensure environmental sanitation so that Hung Tien is truly a livable place in Xuan Binh commune and Nhu Xuan district.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also requested the Party Committee and the Village Front Working Committee to promote the movement of encouraging learning and talent, mobilize families to take care of their children's education, take the lead in building the movement "Drumbeat of Encouraging Learning" in the village and in the whole commune; promote cultural, artistic, physical education and sports movements, and build a joyful and healthy spiritual life.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee wishes: Promoting the 60-year tradition, Hung Tien village together with the whole commune will build a village that ensures security and order, take the lead in building a drug-free village, and move towards building a drug-free commune according to the Project on Building "Drug-free communes, wards, towns, districts, towns, and cities" built by the Provincial Police.

On this occasion, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Lai The Nguyen presented the people and cadres of Hung Tien village with a photo of President Ho Chi Minh shaking hands with President Ton Duc Thang - a symbol of the spirit of great national unity; presented a great unity house worth 80 million VND to a family in difficult circumstances; and presented 10 gifts to families in difficult circumstances in the village.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Lai The Nguyen also awarded a bonus of 100 million VND from the Provincial People's Committee to Hung Tien village for achieving the title of model village.
