Accordingly, Nhon Phuoc Tourist Urban Area has an area of ​​over 204 hectares and a population of 12,500 people.

The planning objective is to create a civilized, modern urban area with an attractive ecological environment following the trend of a green, sustainable urban area. Thereby, promptly meeting the needs of investment in urban development and tourism services for economic sectors, in line with the province's policy. Creating land funds for urban construction to serve economic growth in the region as well as creating connections, unity in management, ensuring architectural landscape, connections in the construction of technical infrastructure systems and architectural works of the project.

The planning adjustment also aims to serve the preparation for investment in the construction of technical infrastructure and architectural works of the project. Create a legal basis for construction implementation, construction management and construction investment.

Also according to this decision, Nhon Phuoc Tourist Urban Area is a tourist urban area in accordance with the orientation of adjusting the general planning of the new urban area of ​​Nhon Trach approved by the Prime Minister and the 1/5,000 scale zoning plan of subdivision 3.3 approved by the Provincial People's Committee. This is an urban area invested in new construction, synchronous technical infrastructure system, social infrastructure according to the standards of a type II urban area, in accordance with the investment policy approved by the Provincial People's Committee.
