Approving sources and needs for salary reform in 2024 for provincial units

The total budget for salary reform in 2024 at units is more than 27.33 billion VND.

The total funding requirement for implementing the basic salary and bonus regime for cadres, civil servants, public employees and employees receiving salaries from the state budget actually present at July 1, 2024 within the number of payrolls assigned or approved by competent authorities according to Decree No. 73 dated June 30, 2024 of the Government is more than 56.1 billion VND. The difference in funding for the surplus (shortage) is more than 28.77 billion VND.

Of which, the salary reform fund is still lacking the additional provincial budget, the amount is more than 49.24 billion VND. The remaining salary reform fund is more than 20.46 billion VND.

Additional funding for units with a total amount of more than 49.24 billion VND, from the 2024 provincial budget salary reform source, to implement additional salary payments and bonus regimes according to Decree No. 73 of the Government.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Finance and the Provincial State Treasury to establish procedures for funding and control expenditures according to regulations; the Department of Finance is responsible for monitoring, guiding, and supervising units implementing salary reform to ensure compliance with regulations.
