The contest is coordinated by the Center for Youth Science and Technology Development (TST), the Department of Science and Technology of Thu Duc City (HCMC), the Department of Education and Training of Thu Duc City (HCMC) and is accompanied by agencies, units and many corporations and enterprises with expertise in the field of digital transformation application in socio-economic activities in Vietnam.
The contest "DigiTrans Smart City - Initiative to build a smart city in 2023" has just been officially launched.
Specifically, the contest "DigiTrans Smart City - Initiative to build a smart city in 2023" will be a bridge to exploit the potential of the young intellectual community and technology start-up projects and businesses, contributing to the completion of highly practical products/solutions that can be widely applied in the process of building a smart city, contributing to improving the quality of economic and social life of the country.
With an expanded scale of competition fields, "DigiTrans Smart City - Initiative to build a smart city in 2023" is expected to attract about 100 teams from a community of more than 550 technology startups and more than 100 universities and colleges in Ho Chi Minh City and other provinces and cities.
The competition will focus on in-depth training and consulting on technology fields serving digital transformation activities in smart city construction, as well as focusing on improving basic skills in project construction and development activities.
Currently, the "Initiative to Build Smart Cities in 2023" has officially accepted registrations from project groups and businesses with digital transformation solutions until October 15. After that, the organizing committee will select the most outstanding initiatives to advance to the final round.
