Flood water rises quickly, Quang Binh people bring cars onto the bridge to avoid the flood

Heavy rain today caused the water level in Kien Giang River (Le Thuy, Quang Binh) to rise. To ensure safety, people brought their cars onto the bridge to avoid flooding.


According to the Quang Binh Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue, Le Thuy district has organized the evacuation of 73 households/201 people (20 households/60 people in Mit Cat village, Kim Thuy; 5 households/22 people in Tan Ly village, Lam Thuy; 4 households/10 people in Khe Giua village; 30 households/85 people in Da Lam lake, Thai Thuy commune; 14 households/56 people in Cay Bong dam and Con Cung dam, Kim Thuy commune). Tan Ly, Bach Dan/Lam Thuy villages, Con Cung/Kim Thuy villages in Le Thuy district (locality of Lang Ho Border Guard Station) were flooded, people and vehicles could not pass through.

In Quang Ninh district, 8 villages were divided (Truong Son commune: Doc May, Rin Rin, Hoi - Ray, Nuoc Dang; Truong Xuan commune: Khe Day, Khe Ngang, Hang Chuon - Na Lam, Truong Nam) with 369 households and 1,314 people.
