Born into an ordinary family, no one worked in the education field, but from a young age Duong Tieu Lam (born 1986) showed outstanding learning ability.

Possessing super intelligence

Since childhood, Tieu Lam has shown a quick intelligence and a great desire to learn. During her school years, Tieu Lam has always been an outstanding name, no student has surpassed her achievements. Tieu Lam became the school's representative to "fight" in many big and small competitions. As she grew older, Tieu Lam revealed her extraordinary intelligence. She was highly appreciated by teachers and friends and called a prodigy.

What's special is that while still in elementary school, she was determined to enter Peking University and Tsinghua University - two top schools in China.

In 2004, Tieu Lam was admitted to Peking University, majoring in astrophysics, a difficult major that many male students were hesitant about. The child prodigy quickly became an outstanding student, always ranking at the top of her class in terms of academic achievements.

Tieu Lam successfully graduated from her favorite major, but instead of going to work right away, she chose to go to the US to continue her studies and improve her qualifications. The University of Utah is where the young girl continues to be attached.

Coming to a foreign land with many dreams and expectations, life's irony forced the young girl to face many difficulties and challenges.

The future is gone because of one decision

Many people think that the young girl's decision to go to America was the right one because training abroad would be a stepping stone to help her succeed.

During the first two years in the US, Tieu Lam maintained her form but for unknown reasons she was unable to defend her doctoral thesis. She published 6 consecutive scientific papers but was still rejected. This was probably the first failure in the life of the child prodigy.

Disappointment with herself and the judgmental looks of people around her made the young girl depressed and sad. Being used to success, Tieu Lam had difficulty overcoming this setback. After a period of not being able to recover, she showed signs of depression.

Other difficulties also came to her, making her doubt her own abilities. Amidst the pressure, but Tieu Lam had no one to share it with. She ended her life at the Golden Gate Bridge in the US. This act was like a release for the 31-year-old girl (in 2017).
