With 10 points in history, 10 points in geography and 9.75 points in literature, Nguyen Thi Cam Tu (class 12D1, Phan Thuc Truc High School, Yen Thanh district, Nghe An) is one of 19 candidates with the highest C00 exam scores nationwide.

In addition, this female student scored 10 points in civics, 8.6 points in English and 6.8 points in math. Cam Tu's total exam score was 53.35 points.

This information did not surprise Tu too much because he had checked the answers and graded himself.

"I like block D, I planned to apply for university block D but did better on the exam block C. Becoming the national valedictorian, I wasn't too surprised but very happy," this female student confided.

With a total admission score of 29.75 points for block C00, Cam Tu plans to apply to the Faculty of Public Relations of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Hanoi.

Tu admits that he is a quiet and reserved person. Therefore, he chose the public relations department with the desire to practice and change himself in this dynamic environment.

"In the future, I want to work in the event organization or editing profession. Therefore, a dynamic learning environment with many talented people will help me improve myself more and be more open," Cam Tu shared.

The female student from Yen Thanh rice fields said that she does not have any special secret in studying. However, she has a good memory and learns quickly. Besides studying at school, Cam Tu studies on the internet, not much outside.

For online learning, according to Cam Tu, choosing a good teacher who suits your learning style is important, instead of following the crowd.

Compared to many of her peers, Cam Tu's family situation is somewhat more special. Her father is completely blind, and her mother suffers from many neurological diseases that gradually cause her eyesight to decline. Although her financial situation is somewhat difficult, she always has the love, encouragement and support of her parents in every decision.

Overcoming her circumstances, Cam Tu achieved many academic achievements. In the 2023-2024 school year, she won second prize in civic education and third prize in history in the Nghe An province's excellent student competition.

Sharing about Cam Tu, teacher Phan Thi Ha (history teacher, homeroom teacher of class 12D1, Phan Thuc Truc High School) could not hide her pride.

"Cam Tu is a quiet and reserved person, but hidden inside this little girl is the determination to assert herself. She also has clear goals in her studies.

Before the recent high school graduation exam, I set a goal of being in the top 20 students with the highest scores in the province. Unfortunately, my math score was a bit "low" (6.8 points). However, the achievement of being the top student in the C block nationwide is completely worthy of my determination and efforts," Ms. Ha shared.
