On the evening of January 14, No Va Real Estate Investment Group Joint Stock Company (HoSE: NVL; Novaland) issued a notice about false information related to the Company's leadership.

Specifically, Novaland said that some media outlets published false information related to Novaland's leadership, mentioning that Mr. Bui Thanh Nhon had just submitted a resignation letter from the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Novaland Group, and resigned from the Board of Directors of the Group from January 20.

Novaland affirms that the information about Mr. Bui Thanh Nhon resigning as Chairman of the Board of Directors is false.

Novaland affirms that this is fabricated information, completely untrue, causing serious misunderstanding for Novaland's customers, partners, shareholders, and investors, causing a stir in public opinion.

According to Novaland, the company is still maintaining stable production and business activities without any changes in the leadership team and Mr. Bui Thanh Nhon is still holding the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Novaland Group, directly directing and orienting the Group's activities.

“Novaland is determined to recover and strive to fulfill its commitments to ensure the best interests of stakeholders for sustainable development,” Novaland emphasized.

In recent days, Novaland's stock price has plummeted. At the end of the trading session on January 14, Novaland's NVL stock continued to fall to VND8,950/share.

Thus, NVL's market price has decreased by 12% in the past month and 45% in the past year. Novaland's market capitalization at this point is only over 17,450 billion VND.

Currently, Mr. Bui Thanh Nhon directly owns 96.8 million NVL shares (accounting for 4.96% of Novaland's capital) and indirectly owns through 2 organizations: Nova Group 343.8 million shares (17.63%) and Diamond Properties 168.7 million shares (8.65%).

In addition, Mr. Nhon's relatives are also holding about 144.5 million NVL shares.

In total, the group of shareholders related to Mr. Bui Thanh Nhon owns 38.6% of Novaland's capital and is the largest shareholder group of this company.
