Ms. Nguyen Thi Giang - Director of the Cooperative for Clean Medicinal Plant Production and Agricultural Business in Cu Nam Commune (in Cu Nam Commune, Bo Trach District, Quang Binh Province), said: "In 2021, the cooperative was supported by the Department of Tourism to build tourist attractions and welcomed many tourist groups to visit and shop. Along with that, the cooperative actively connects and brings OCOP products to specialty stores, tourist attractions, and accommodation facilities to serve tourists".

"Through the tourism connection channel, the cooperative's output and sales revenue increased, and its products are also known to more tourists inside and outside the province," said Ms. Nguyen Thi Giang.

In Nam Trach commune (Bo Trach district, Quang Binh province), Nhu Oanh Essential Oil Production Cooperative has also opened a store displaying the unit's OCOP products near the production facility.

This cooperative currently has 4 3-star OCOP products, including: tea tree, five-veined tea tree, lemongrass, and Java lemongrass. In order for OCOP products to be connected with tourism and become gifts for tourists to choose when coming to Quang Binh, this unit has invested in building a product introduction and display point.

Ms. Tran Thi Nhu Oanh - Director of Nhu Oanh Essential Oil Production Cooperative, shared: "Since the OCOP product display point was established, thanks to the connection between the cooperative and travel companies, the number of tourist groups visiting Phong Nha - Ke Bang visiting our store has been quite large, an average of about 10-12 groups/month.

In addition, the Cooperative also welcomes many delegations to visit and learn from the experiences of other provinces. Thanks to that, through the tourism connection channel, each month, the unit consumes 300 - 500 products, earning a profit of about 25 million VND."
