The People's Committee of Ninh Binh province has just issued Document No. 666/UBND-VP5 to implement the social housing loan program and the clean water and rural environmental sanitation loan program (NS&VSMTNT).

To continue effectively implementing the social housing loan program and NS&VSMTNT loan program, the Provincial People's Committee assigned agencies, units and localities to coordinate and create conditions for the Bank for Social Policies to effectively implement the social housing loan program in the area according to Decree No. 100/2024/ND-CP of the Government; effectively implement the NS&VSMTNT loan program according to Decision No. 10/2024/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister, contributing to improving people's lives and actively contributing to the movement of building advanced and exemplary new rural areas in the province.

The Provincial People's Committee requests the People's Committees of districts and cities to closely coordinate with the Social Policy Bank in the area to investigate, survey, and synthesize loan needs to develop annual and periodic targets for social housing loans and NS&VSMTNT loans. For organizations and unions that receive entrustment, actively propagate and publicly disseminate the content of social housing loans to all classes of people. Strictly implement joint documents, entrustment contracts, and authorization contracts signed with the Social Policy Bank on the implementation of entrusted loans for poor households and other policy subjects in the area.

As of July 2024, the total outstanding social housing loans in the province are more than 200 billion VND with 611 customers having outstanding loans.
