I followed each article in this series, and suddenly felt a sense of disappointment when it ended. Because I still hoped to read more stories about the soldiers of Truong Sa. Everyone knows that Truong Sa and Hoang Sa are sacred and inseparable territories, the flesh and blood of the unified Vietnam.

It is true that information about the work, performance of duties, and daily life of island soldiers, although appearing relatively recently, probably still does not satisfy readers' need to know.

So the story of Dinh Do Thien, who, due to lack of points, could not enter the military school as he wished, volunteered to apply to join the army. Then, after a few years of training, he was able to set foot on the island to work, fulfilling his wish. I'm sure I'm not the only one who is happy with him.

I like the story of young soldiers meeting and hugging their parents right on the island they are working on. That happiness is sometimes too normal for us when we get to see our parents every day. But for the island soldiers, meeting their parents right on that sacred sea and sky, it is difficult to find words to describe this happiness.

As a resident of Ho Chi Minh City, I support the activities towards Truong Sa. The annual visit will shorten the distance between the sea and shore between the people of the city and the soldiers on the island. That presence is like the commitment of Ho Chi Minh City "For beloved Truong Sa - for the front line of the Fatherland".

And I remember the song Very Near Truong Sa (musician Hinh Phuoc Long) that I heard a long time ago "not far away Truong Sa, still close to you because Truong Sa is always with me, still close to you because Truong Sa is always with you". Truong Sa is very close to the heart of every Vietnamese person.
