Nghi Xuan District (Ha Tinh) has just recognized another model new rural residential area, bringing the total number of model new rural residential areas in the district to 92/127, accounting for 72.4%.

Accordingly, 6 villages achieving model new rural residential areas in 2023 include: Yen Loi (Xuan Yen commune), Hong Khanh (Xuan Giang), Phu Hoa (Co Dam commune), village 3 (Xuan Linh commune), Truong Hai, Truong Vinh (Dan Truong commune).

Up to now, Nghi Xuan district has 92/127 villages meeting the standards of model new-style rural residential areas, accounting for 72.4%.

The district has 24 OCOP products, effective agricultural production models, 143 cooperatives, 84 cooperatives, and 316 enterprises. In 2023, the district will renovate and upgrade 9.35 km of village and commune roads and alleys; solidify 7.45 km of intra-field canals; build 3 new schools and 19 classrooms; build and upgrade 14 commune and village cultural houses; build and upgrade 29 sports areas, etc.

After being renovated and upgraded, cultural houses will be equipped to ensure the daily life and sports activities of the people.

In 2023, Nghi Xuan strives to have 2 communes build advanced new rural areas (Xuan Hai, Xuan Yen) and 1 model new rural commune that has been assessed by departments and branches.
