The 10th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee opened on the morning of September 18, 2024 in Hanoi.

Morning, The Central Executive Committee of the Party works at the Hall.

Comrade Pham Minh Chinh, Politburo member and Prime Minister, chaired the meeting on behalf of the Politburo.

The Central Committee took a minute to commemorate compatriots and soldiers who died and sacrificed, and donated to support compatriots affected by the recent storm No. 3.

After the opening session, The Central Executive Committee of the Party works at the organization discuss the draft Political Report to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress; Summary Report on some theoretical and practical issues on the socialist-oriented renovation process over the past 40 years in Vietnam.

Afternoon, The Central Executive Committee of the Party works at the organization discuss the draft Report on the assessment of 5 years of implementing the 10-year socio-economic development strategy 2021-2030, directions and tasks for socio-economic development in the 5-year period 2026-2030; draft Report on the assessment of the implementation of the socio-economic development plan in 2024, the expected socio-economic development plan in 2025; Report on the assessment of the implementation of the state budget in 2024, the state budget estimate in 2025; 3-year state financial-budget plan 2025-2027; policy of the investment project to build the high-speed railway on the north-south axis.

Evening, The Central Executive Committee of the Party works at the organization discuss the Summary of the personnel work of the 13th Party Central Committee and the direction of personnel work of the 14th Party Central Committee; the Project to amend and supplement Decision No. 244-QD/TW, dated June 9, 2014 of the 11th Party Central Committee on promulgating the Election Regulations within the Party; the draft Report summarizing the work of Party building and implementation of the Party Charter to be submitted to the 14th Party Congress.
