In addition, near the coast of Chau Thuan Bien, there is a rich underwater ecosystem with many species of fish and squid living, especially seaweed that grows strongly from June to August every year, so fishermen are excited because nature has given them "sea blessings". The seaweed plant has a yellow-brown color, often clinging to coral reefs and underwater rocks at a depth of 3m to 6m. When the seaweed grows long and old, floating on the water surface to form a large beach, it is the ideal time to harvest.

Seaweed is both a nutritious food for coastal people and a precious medicinal herb, so it has economic value, creating additional income for the people of Chau Thuan Bien. Large-scale fishermen use ships, boats and oxygen compressors for diving, while small-scale fishermen use basket boats and "homemade floating rafts" to move to coastal waters to collect or dive to cut seaweed.

At the end of Binh Chau geological cape, Binh Chau commune, there is a large sea cliff that the locals call Ganh Ca, on the left and right are Hon Nhan and Hon Ao, around this area, seaweed grows very thickly. Originally a sedimentary rock island formed from ancient volcanic eruptions, Hon Nhan has a heart shape. Looking from above, you can see seaweed beaches clinging to layers of shiny black laterite. If you look below the water, you can admire clusters of seaweed swaying, schools of fish and shrimp swimming. Standing on Hon Nhan, you can freely admire the vast ocean, Ba Lang An lighthouse or Ly Son island in the distance...
