According to information from the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense rescue team in Myanmar, at noon on April 2, while carrying out rescue work at Ottara Thiri Hospital, Naypyidaw, Myanmar, the Vietnamese military rescue team received information that an earthquake victim was trapped in the rubble but was still alive.
Initially, the victim was identified as a 26-27 year old man trapped inside the Aye Chan Thar Hotel in Naypyidaw, about 20km from the hospital where the Vietnamese team was carrying out rescue work.
Immediately, the Vietnamese rescue team sent a 6-member engineering team to coordinate with the rescue forces of Türkiye and Myanmar to find a way to rescue the victims.
When rescuers arrived at the location where the victim was trapped, the victim was still able to speak and said he was fine, only lacking food and water.
Rescue forces are currently approaching to rescue trapped victims.
