On the occasion of the 98th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2023), the Vietnam Journalists Association - Vietnam Publishing Association, the Department of Information and Communications of Ho Chi Minh City, the Ho Chi Minh City Journalists Association and Thanh Nien Newspaper jointly organized an exhibition and introduction of books by press agencies and journalists with the theme "Book Week of Journalists". The event is expected to take place from June 17-22 at Ho Chi Minh City Book Street (Nguyen Van Binh Street, District 1).

The Journalists' Book Week includes a series of diverse activities including: book introductions, discussion forums, awarding commemorative medals to journalists whose books have won high awards from the city and central government; donating books to the library of the Vietnam Journalism Museum and the Faculty of Journalism (University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Ho Chi Minh City)...
Participating units are press agencies of Ho Chi Minh City; central and local press agencies with headquarters, branches, representative offices, and permanent agencies in Ho Chi Minh City.
Regarding individuals, they are cadres, reporters, and employees who have worked and are working at representative offices, permanent offices, and branches of press agencies in Ho Chi Minh City; other central and local press agencies in Ho Chi Minh City.
Participating press agencies send 2 books per title; each individual sends a maximum of 3 books (2 copies/title, with notes on the outside of the book: pen name, work unit when creating the work). These are books published between January 2018 and June 2023.
Deadline for submitting works to the Organizing Committee via the Ho Chi Minh City Journalists Association (14 Alexandre de Rhodes, District 1) is before June 2.
The press conference to announce the Journalists' Book Week program will take place at 2:30 p.m. on June 6 at Thanh Nien Newspaper Office (268-270 Nguyen Dinh Chieu, Vo Thi Sau Ward, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City).
The opening ceremony of Journalists' Book Week is scheduled to be held at 8:30 a.m. on June 17 at Stage A, Ho Chi Minh City Book Street.
The event celebrating the 98th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day aims to attract the participation of those working in the field of journalism and media; this is also an opportunity for journalists to meet, connect, share about work, life and experiences when writing books.
