Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the People's Council of Dak Lak province, term X, Huynh Thi Chien Hoa presented a report on the proposal to dismiss the Chairman of the People's Committee of Dak Lak province, term X, term 2021-2026, for Mr. Pham Ngoc Nghi.

At this session, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Dak Lak province, term X, Huynh Thi Chien Hoa presented a proposal to dismiss Mr. Pham Ngoc Nghi from the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Dak Lak province, term X, term 2021-2026.

The meeting voted to pass the Resolution to dismiss the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, term X, 2021-2026, for Mr. Pham Ngoc Nghi with a rate of 100%, due to retirement.

Previously, on April 14, at the 114th Symposium, the Standing Committee of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee announced the decision of the Secretariat on agreeing to allow Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee Pham Ngoc Nghi to retire before the age of his wish from April 15.

At the end of March 2025, Mr. Pham Ngoc Nghi submitted an application for early retirement.

Mr. Pham Ngoc Nghi was born in 1965, his hometown is Quang Ngai province. During his career, Mr. Pham Ngoc Nghi has held the following positions: Secretary of Dak Lak Provincial Youth Union; Secretary of Krong Ana District Party Committee, Dak Lak province; Director of Dak Lak Department of Planning and Investment; Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee since February 10, 2015 for more than 10 years.

Delegates voted to pass a resolution to dismiss Mr. Pham Ngoc Nghi from the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Dak Lak province, term X, 2021-2026.

In early April, the Central Inspection Commission disciplined Mr. Pham Ngoc Nghi, Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee, with a warning, for violating Party regulations and State laws in performing assigned duties and tasks, in preventing and combating corruption and negativity; violating regulations on what Party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example, causing serious consequences, reducing the prestige of the Party organization and local government.

At the end of 2024, Mr. Pham Ngoc Nghi, Chairman of the People's Committee of Dak Lak province, was disciplined by reprimand in Decision No. 1549/QD-TTg dated December 12, 2024, due to violations and shortcomings in his work.
