To ensure safety and prevent unwanted incidents from occurring when crowds gather on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) in Ho Chi Minh City, the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management (Ministry of Health) and the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health have deployed medical work and instructed people on ensuring safety when attending crowded events, such as military parades.

As a guide, event attendees should dress neatly and appropriately, wear shoes or sandals with a back strap, and avoid high heels or slippers.
Bring drinking water, snacks; bring neat sun and rain protection accessories. People with underlying diseases, cardiovascular and respiratory diseases should limit going to crowded places.
While attending the event, do not jostle, push, get overly excited, avoid arguing or screaming.
In case of emergency, do not panic, do not listen to rumors. Do not panic, run, push. Stay calm, listen to announcements and follow the instructions of security forces and guards.
At the same time, observe the exit, quickly leave the danger area. Move with the flow of people, keep a steady posture, do not try to go against the flow.
In case you are caught up in a crowd, keep your hands in front of your chest to protect your lungs and avoid suffocation. Take short steps in sync with the flow of people. Do not stop in the middle of the crowd. Stay calm and do not scream in panic.
If you fall, cover your head, protect it and bend over to protect your vital organs. Find an opportunity to stand up as soon as possible.
The Ministry of Health especially notes that safety is the top priority. If you feel unsafe, leave crowded areas immediately.
