According to Decision No. 2501-QD/TU of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, the Party Delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the city ended its operation from February 28, 2025. The Party Committee of the City Party agencies issued Decision No. 09-QD/DU to establish the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, consisting of 38 Party members; the Standing Committee of the Party Committee consists of 3 people; of which, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung - Member of the City Party Committee, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the City Party agencies, Permanent Vice Chairman, Head of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city holds the position of Secretary of the Party Committee; Mr. Pham Minh Tuan - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city holds the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee; Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Thuy - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, Chairwoman of the Trade Union of the Agency holds the position of Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee.

Mr. Ngo Thanh Son, Nguyen Thi Le Huong, Duong Thi Huyen Tram, Nguyen Quoc Viet, Thach Nghi Xuan, Le Nguyen Hong Quang are Party Committee members. Appointed the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee of the Agency consisting of 03 people, including: Mr. Pham Minh Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City as Chairman; two members including: Mr. Nguyen Quoc Viet, Party Committee member, Standing Member, Head of the Organization Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City; Mr. Tran Huu Nghia, Deputy Head of the Democracy - Law Committee, Head of the People's Inspection Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City.

The conference also announced the decision to establish the Propaganda and Social Mobilization Committee on the basis of merging the Propaganda and Foreign Affairs Committee and the Movement Committee, transferring foreign affairs work to the Office, and transferring work on overseas Vietnamese to the Ethnic and Religious Committee.

After the reorganization, the City's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee has 5 focal points including: Propaganda - Social Mobilization Committee, Organization Committee, Democracy - Law Committee, Ethnic - Religious Committee and Office.

The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city appointed Ms. Duong Thi Huyen Tram - Standing Member, Head of the Movement Committee to hold the position of Head of the Propaganda and Social Mobilization Committee; appointed Mr. Nguyen Thai Binh - Deputy Head of the Movement Committee to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Social Mobilization Committee; appointed Ms. Cao Thi Thu Duyen - Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Foreign Affairs Committee to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Social Mobilization Committee.

At the Conference, the City Front informed about the specific assignment of tasks to the Chairmen, Vice Chairmen, and Standing Committee Members; announced the decision to transfer Mr. Chau Trong Nam - specialist of the Propaganda and External Relations Department to work at the Office, Mr. Doan Huu Minh to work at the Organizing Department, Ms. Huyen Ton Nu Diem My to work at the Propaganda and Social Mobilization Department; specific tasks are assigned by the Heads of the Departments and the Chief of Office.

According to the Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the agency is continuing to advise on the implementation of the policy of streamlining the Vietnam Fatherland Front system at all levels of the city according to the policies and orientations of the Central and City Party Committee.
