In recent days, along Bach Dang Street (Hai Chau District, Da Nang), units are rushing to complete the flower street for the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin.
According to the plan, the Da Nang Tet flower street will be completed before February 7 (December 28, year of the Cat) and will be open to the public until February 19 (January 10, year of the Dragon).
This year, Da Nang invested nearly 20 billion VND to decorate 15 flower locations and 6 lighting locations. In the picture are 2 decoration locations in the Dragon Bridge area that are gradually being completed.
At the northern square, the area at the tail of the Dragon Bridge, the decorative highlight is the flying dragon mascot. The theme of this Tet flower spot is "Spring Dance" with the image of a dragon undulating and dancing.
This dragon mascot has fire, smoke, and water effects, creating a joyful and bustling atmosphere suitable for the spring atmosphere.
Many people are interested and think that this is a miniature model of Dragon Bridge - a unique symbol of the city on the Han River.
Although not officially open yet, there are still many people and tourists coming to witness the fire-breathing dragon mascot and capture beautiful moments here.
At the square south of the Dragon Bridge, the decorative highlight is the "Lac Long Quan and Au Co" detail cluster with the idea of 50 children following their father to the sea, 50 children following their mother to the mountains. At this location, the basic items have been completed.
At the square north of the Dragon Bridge is the "Dragon Travel Spring" cluster with images of funny dragons suitable for the joyful atmosphere of Tet.
According to the records, the construction unit is urgently completing the project on schedule to serve the people and tourists for entertainment, sightseeing, and check-in.
At this location, the construction unit has launched a dragon mascot about 50m long, weighing nearly 1 ton. The mascot is considered quite impressive and beautiful.
In addition to the mascot, the city also installed stylized models and decorated with flowers and miniature landscapes depicting the brilliant colors of spring.
Many young people come to take photos, check-in early, and capture images of spring coming to the streets of Da Nang.
"This year the city decorated the Tet flower street with such brilliant colors, it made me excited. I went to take pictures as soon as I got back to Da Nang, because I couldn't miss these once-a-year moments," Nguyen Thuy Linh shared.
The dragon mascot at Nam Duong Park (Nguyen Van Linh Street) has the same "father" as the Quang Tri dragon, artist Dinh Van Tam. Many visitors are amazed by the majestic and brave appearance of this dragon mascot statue.
