Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation: Handing over 4 "Union Shelters" to union members in difficulty

(DTO) Practically celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), on August 22, the Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation organized the handover of 4 "Union Shelters" to union members with difficult housing circumstances. The union members receiving support this time include: Doan Van Do (Pilmico Vietnam Co., Ltd. Trade Union), Nguyen Thi Hong Tham (Cao Lanh 2 Regional Medical Center Trade Union), Tran Thi Thuy Duong (Phong My Kindergarten Trade Union), and Vo Minh Duong (Phong My Commune Trade Union).

Each house is worth from 95 million VND to 180 million VND, of which the Golden Heart Charity Fund - Dong Thap Branch supports 60 million VND, the rest is contributed by family and relatives.

Representatives of the Provincial Labor Federation, Ba Sao commune, and the grassroots trade union took a souvenir photo with the family of union member Nguyen Thi Hong Tham (Grounded trade union of Cao Lanh 2 Regional Medical Center).

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui, President of the Provincial Federation of Labor, said: "The program "Union Shelter" is one of the practical activities of the Trade Union organization, aiming to promptly support and share difficulties with union members, helping them stabilize their lives, feel secure in their work and production, and stay attached to the Trade Union organization".

The houses handed over this time belong to the 100 "Union Shelters" project implemented by the Provincial Federation of Labor in 2025, providing practical care for union members. This is also an activity to celebrate major holidays and look forward to Party Congresses at all levels, the 14th National Party Congress.
