Volleyball in Hanoi has made remarkable progress in recent years. The city currently has 8 professional volleyball teams, including 4 men's teams and 4 women's teams, creating a solid foundation for the development of this sport .

Notable achievements such as the bronze medal at the 2022 national championship and the promotion of the women's team in 2024 show that Hanoi volleyball has a solid foundation for development. However, challenges in the training system and facilities are still major barriers.

The Hanoi Volleyball Federation was established with the mission of becoming a bridge to help the capital's volleyball develop comprehensively. The Federation will focus on developing the men's and women's teams with the goal of achieving high results in national tournaments, while promoting the school volleyball movement and improving the quality of training athletes from the grassroots level. In addition, the Federation will focus on socializing resources, seeking sponsorship from the business community and expanding communications to attract the attention of sponsors, creating highly attractive commercial tournaments.

Ms. Tran Thuy Chi, President of the Hanoi Volleyball Federation, pledged that together with the Executive Committee of the first term, they will unite, innovate and promote collective intelligence to fulfill the responsibilities assigned by the congress, contributing to bringing Hanoi volleyball further in the future.

In her closing speech, Ms. Tran Thuy Chi shared: "With the honor and responsibility of the President of the Hanoi Volleyball Federation, I pledge to unite, innovate, and promote collective intelligence with the Executive Committee of the first term to fulfill the important tasks entrusted to me by the congress". The establishment of the Hanoi Volleyball Federation is not just an administrative event, but a commitment of a dedicated collective with a strategic vision for the future of volleyball in the capital".
