Up to now, the 4th Political Contest on Protecting the Party's Ideological Foundation in 2024, chaired by the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, in coordination with the Central Propaganda Department, the Central Theoretical Council, the Communist Magazine, Nhan Dan Newspaper, Vietnam Television, and the Vietnam Journalists Association, has achieved very good initial results and has completed the final round of judging.

At the Meeting, the Organizing Committee of the Competition reported on the scenarios for organizing the Award Ceremony, guests attending the award ceremony, the identity of the Competition Award Ceremony, the Competition's souvenir cup, the Competition's funding guarantee, and the plan to honor the sponsors.

Following the direction of the Politburo member, Director of the Academy, Head of the Competition Steering Committee, the Organizing Committee assigned the task of organizing the Award Ceremony to 3 units: Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Vietnam Television and the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army.

Also at the Meeting, the Organizing Committee of the Contest recorded many enthusiastic comments from delegates on a number of tasks and duties related to the Contest Award Ceremony.

Speaking at the meeting, Professor, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang, Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, Head of the Competition Steering Committee highly appreciated the initial results of the 4th Political Essay Competition on protecting the Party's ideological foundation in 2024.

After 4 implementations, the Political Contest on protecting the Party's ideological foundation has become increasingly systematic and well-organized with the participation of the entire political system and especially the response of the entire population.

Nationwide, the Organizing Committee received 468,792 entries to the Contest. The entries demonstrated diversity in form, content and style; ensured official information on the viewpoints, policies, innovative contents, and strategic vision of our Party over nearly 40 years of innovation; aimed at the 14th National Congress of the Party; directly combated erroneous arguments and viewpoints, and distorted the country's development achievements.

This year, the Award Ceremony will be held at Hall 1, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and broadcast live on VTV1 channel at 8:10 p.m. on October 20, 2024.
