A press conference to introduce BridgeFest 2024 was held at the Swiss Embassy on October 18. Accordingly, the 6th BridgeFest will take place at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square, Hanoi on November 2.

BridgeFest celebrates the power of music to connect cultures across nations, inspire young people, and promote equality and sustainable values.

The event was co-organized by Oxfam in Vietnam, the Embassies of the Netherlands, the United States, Switzerland, Canada, and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam.

The festival promises to bring vibrant, colorful performances from leading domestic artists such as Phao, Thanh Duy, Ha Le, Minh Toc & Lam, the band Buc Tuong,... and international bands such as JamBox, the band of diplomats Bridge Band.

BridgeFest also introduces to the audience culturally rich performances from community groups from three regions of the country.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thu Huong, representative of Oxfam in Vietnam, after 6 years of organization, the festival has attracted thousands of participants and conveyed important messages about equality and social inclusion across Vietnam. Connecting people through music, inspiring positive changes and moving towards a future where everyone thrives and is happy.

Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mr. Tran Nhat Hoang shared: "We always highly appreciate the efforts and values ​​that BridgeFest has brought to the community over the years. The festival has used music to connect and spread meaningful messages, contributing to humane and noble ideas for a better future for everyone."
