First exhibition about famous detective Conan held in Hanoi

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Detective Conan series, readers in Hanoi and the northern provinces will fully experience memorable moments in the exhibition "30 years of memories - Detective Conan".

Within the framework of the exhibition, the development history and appeal of the series will be introduced to fans through rooms and areas arranged according to different themes based on the content of the series.

These are areas displaying character statues; areas reviewing memorable “sayings” throughout the work, famous quotes revealing the characters’ thoughts and beliefs; areas with a “special section” that collects codes that have appeared in the works; areas focusing on the main characters standing in the shadows of Detective Conan ; or areas dedicated to “Conan’s rival” - the super thief Kaito Kid…

And especially the area called “Memory Room”, summarizing the 30-year journey of the famous Detective Conan. Through a retrospective film, readers seem to step into a nostalgic space with many emotions, bringing a different and unique experience only available at this exhibition.

The exhibition also left an unforgettable impression with the special display area of author Gosho Aoyama - which contains valuable early design documents of Detective Conan.

In addition, the exhibition also has many check-in photo spots using exclusive illustrations, display areas of items appearing in the series, exclusive products, limited to readers, promising to bring many new experiences to the fan community of the shrunken detective.

Starting to be serialized in Shogakukan Publishing House's Weekly Shonen Sunday since January 1994, Detective Conan (original: Gosho Aoyama) has now marked its 30th anniversary, becoming a beloved series worldwide.

The series has over 1,100 chapters, published in 105 volumes. Manga adaptations are still regularly released to the public every year, including animation and 27 movies.

As one of the Manga series with the largest circulation in Vietnam, since it was officially released by Kim Dong Publishing House more than 2 decades ago, Detective Conan has always been a work that is widely welcomed by readers after each release.

The exhibition will also display a special gift from author Gosho Aoyama - a hand-drawn sketch by the author - as a greeting and thank you to all Conan fans in Vietnam.

Along with the launch of the new comic series about Detective Conan, Kim Dong Publishing House also organized a series of events and launched new books such as: Fan meeting program "Detective Conan - The Truth is Only One" (in Ho Chi Minh City on October 6); announced the release plans: the first artbook edition of Conan, volume 105 of the popular and special editions, color animation series, anthologies...; most notably, the upgraded edition of the series with a new format, the content is edited and revised entirely...

The organizers hope that the exhibition "30 years of memories - Detective Conan" will become an unforgettable event for fans after a long time of waiting and looking forward.

The exhibition “30 years of memories - The famous detective Conan” is co-organized by Kim Dong Publishing House and Tagger. The event takes place from October 26 to December 25 from 9am to 9pm at Kim Dong Publishing House (55 Quang Trung, Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi). The exhibition is suitable for readers aged 12 and above.
