The program was organized by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Cultural Diplomacy, with the participation and coordination of units under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs , for more than 250 individuals who are children of officials, civil servants, public employees and workers in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, aged 6 to 18.

Permanent Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Minh Vu and wife of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Vu Thi Bich Ngoc attended the program.

The Summer Camp “I Love Diplomacy” is an annual activity to encourage children in the sector to learn more about and love their profession, work and daily contributions from their parents, while creating a useful playground for exchange and connection between generations and diplomatic families, demonstrating the practical concern of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' leaders for civil servants, public employees and workers in the sector, as well as for families - the solid rear of diplomats.

Speaking at the program, Madam Vu Thi Bich Ngoc said that the Summer Camp is a meaningful activity, as well as a useful playground for children to learn, exchange, practice and gradually form the necessary qualities and skills to become "Little Diplomats" in the future.

Summer camp has become a familiar activity, where children make new friends, participate in games, practice skills, and also understand a little more about their parents' work. This year, the program is even more meaningful as it takes place on the occasion of the 80th Anniversary of the Diplomatic Service. Madam Vu Thi Bich Ngoc hopes that after today's program, the children will love and be more proud of their parents.

“In the future, you may be the next generation to continue your parents' precious tradition with many great contributions to the diplomatic sector, as well as to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland,” Mrs. Bich Ngoc shared with the children.

Before that, within the framework of the program, the children visited the Vietnam Military History Museum, saw, heard and learned about the heroic history of the Vietnamese armed forces, from the early days of its establishment and through the resistance wars against foreign invaders.

The “Little Diplomats” were introduced to the heroic feats of the nation, contributing to spreading the love of history and pride of the Vietnamese people. Each story the children heard brought deep emotions, a deeper sense of the patriotic tradition and the indomitable fighting spirit of their ancestors.
